Standard technological design

Genis solutions and services for electronic document archiving are based on the high-performance technologies of leading international and Slovenian suppliers, and our own software solutions. With the development of modular solutions we enable our partners to modify their archive system according to their requirements and business processes irrespective of using the Genis archive system as a product or as a service.

Secure data storage
e-Archivist is based on the IBM Content Manager and IBM Records Manager software and Genis proprietary software solutions.

Assuring identification and reliability
A custom module in the GENIS e-Archivist manages e-certificates, e-signatures and e-stamps, signature verification and encryption.

Using standard document formats
Documents are converted into standard PDF format and readable using the Adobe Systems family of products (Adobe Acrobat Professional or Adobe Acrobat Reader)

Using and supporting archives
The Content Manager Client for Windows or Content Manager e-Client portal are used for accessing archive contents and administration facilities for less demanding requirements. For demanding requirements, Genis sets up specific entry gateways that even allow access over mobile telephones or PDAs.

Information Infrastructure Management
The module for managing hardware and software in e-Archivist is based on IBM Tivoli and includes inventory control as well as physical e-storage control.
