With Genis OPA! electronic archiving services Genis is entering a fast
growing segment of information services and simplifies legal, technological and
organizational questions of paperless operation. KRANJ, 4.12.2008 – At the
pre-new year meeting of partners in Festivalna dvorana, Bled, Genis for the
first time officially presented Genis OPA! environment friendly archive
service. By the new range of services Genis wants to enable fast implementation
of electronic archiving to companies and institutions which is nowadays the
only proper way for safe and efficient managing of business documentation.
Genis OPA! information services are based on Genis's good practices of
electronic operation and that is why they enable users innovative use of
archive material for increasing operation efficiency. "Electronic archive
services represent the first package of software services planed by Genis,"
said Stane Štefančič, director of Genis. "By these services we follow our
vision within which we enable our business partners to introduce new business
models through integration of services in organization and processes and the
use of information technology." Genis will first offer its new services
as a regional electronic archive for companies and institutions operating in
the Gorenjska region. "In accordance with the realization of our development
goals we plan to gradually offer Genis OPA! services to all the companies in
the country and region which are aware of the necessity of electronic
operation," also said Štefančič. Genia OPA! environment friendly archive
information services are based on Genis's Center for Archiving Business
Documentation infrastructure. They enable organizations secure storage of
various types of documentation in electronic form, for instance
financial-accounting, personnel, project, technological,
development-constructional and supervising. Genis OPA! enables companies and
institutions, regardless of the size and the area of operation, the elimination
of paper documents in operation and introduction of innovative electronic work
procedures. In this way organizations quickly increase efficiency, lower costs
and establish new services with added value for employees and clients.
