Genis protects classified information

Company Genis established, based on the Safety permission, an Administrative
area for protecting internal level classified information.
KRANJ,
28. 10. 2009 – Company Genis d.o.o., the leading producer of information
solutions for the electronic operation of companies and public administration
has extended the services of the Centre for archiving business documentation
also on the safekeeping of classified information. Namely, the company Genis
has acquired from the General Police Directorate a special Safety Permission
which enabled it to extend the service of safekeeping also to the area of
safekeeping internal level classified information. By acquiring the Safety
Permission Genis has established the so called Administrative area which means
that the protection of classified information is systemically managed on the
level of the entire company.
"By establishing the Administrative
area we have enabled our clients from the public and private sector additional
guarantee that their data in our Centre for archiving business documentation
will be dealt in accordance with adequate safety measures," said Janko
Štefančič, technical director of the company Genis.
To acquire the
Safety Permission the company has fulfilled all the physical, organizational
and technical conditions for protecting classified information in accordance
with the Classified Information Act. This also means that the employees, who
will, in the course of their work, have access to classified information will
be subjected to the safety check by the Ministry of the Internal Affairs or
verified whether they have been involved in a criminal proceeding in the past.
