With new developmental achievement Genis has confirmed vast
capabilities of Lotus environment upon development of efficient and innovative
work procedures support solutions. KRANJ, 19. 2. 2009 – Genis's experts
have developed integrating interface for connecting Špica's solution
Time&Space for Time Attendance and Access Control with their Personnel
Records solution in the IBM Lotus environment. Thus Genis has enabled
employees, experts and executives in the human resources management area simple
access to working hours data directly from the management environment for
personal productivity and teamwork. In addition, reception office and company's
management have gained overview over entries into company by employees and
contractors which are using ID cards without contact and other visitors. "Genis has its own human resources management solution which has now been
expanded by the possibility of recording working hours," said Janko Štefančič,
director of development in Genis d.o.o.Personnel Records by Genis enable a
company to efficiently manage its human resources and their knowledge and to
build social networks for cooperation and knowledge exchange. The advantage of
Personnel Records in the Lotus environment is that is combines all needed work
procedures, documentation and data concerning employment and hiring of
contractors. "Second aspect of the integration is monitoring accesses into the
company. Reception office now, through a uniform work environment, controls all
data and events about persons entering the company, whether they use
Time&Space or not," also said Janko Štefančič. Integration of Lotus
environment and the leading regional solution for Time Attendance and Access
Control enables Lotus environment users, among which there are mostly medium
and large sized companies and public administration, to simplify procedures in
the human resources management area and lower the cost of attendance monitoring
information support.
